We have now completely finished filming our film and are ready to begin editing it for next week. However, this week we are focusing our attention on poster research and coming up with our own posters for our film. I am going to look at various horror film posters to see the conventions used and how we can make our poster fit this description, yet look different and exciting. Looking at these horror film posters show the conventions that we will need to include for my final film poster and have given me ideas to use such as colour, typography and images.
Here is my poster research below on two horror film posters; 'Freddy vs. Jason' and 'The House of Wax'.

I feel that doing this research was extremely beneficial for coming up with ideas for my final poster. The next thing I need to do is brainstorm and plan ideas for the poster.
